Minimally Invasive Spine: The Future of Spine Surgery
The Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery (FIENS) invites you to join an upcoming Virtual Visiting Professor session featuring Dr. Jesús Lafuente, Consultant Neurosurgeon at Hospital Universitario del Mar in Barcelona, Spain, and Director of the Spine Unit. Dr. Lafuente completed his training at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen’s Square, London, where he also completed a spinal fellowship and earned his PhD.
This session will explore the evolving role of minimally invasive techniques in spine surgery, highlighting innovations that are improving patient outcomes, reducing recovery times, and expanding access to advanced surgical care.
